One Month Later

I am honestly at a loss of words for this.

A little over a month ago my book, We Don’t Trust Your Theology, was released and the response has been overwhelming and unexpected.

Thank you all, so very much.

I have never cared about rankings or really any other standards of measurement with achievements or accomplishments, but reaching 85th on the Christian Discipleship (Books) ranking on Amazon felt great. I hate that this is where most of these sales have been happening, but that is just the world we live in at the moment. A friend was keeping track of the Discipleship column as a joke and I opened the morning after the release was public expecting it to drop from the 1500’s to the 20,000’s. To my surprise it had gone up substantially and in my brain fog, I did something my dad would have done and took a picture of the computer, instead of screenshooting it.

Seeing the social media posts about it, not only from the people I care about, but those I have lost contact with has been incredibly moving.

After spending years on something I thought very few people would read, I just wanted to say thank you for the support. Quite a large number have asked about signed copies and purchasing them from me (which is such a weird sentence to have typed, not something I ever expected), which more info will be coming in the next month, so I will post about it when they’re available.

If you are one of the people that purchased this, thank you so much. And if you have a few moments please head over to Amazon or Goodreads, and write a review. It helps the book climb charts and get into the hands and suggestions of others. And if you don’t want to buy a copy but still want to read it, please request it at your local library.

Thank you again.

Grace and peace.
