In this weeks episode of #evangebros Don and I discuss the book of Acts. We are starting a new series where we will go through the book, a chapter at a time looking at it in the lens of a field guide for overthrowing empire and oppression. However, before we jump right into that, there is groundwork to be laid.
Every now and again I’ll say something about how Jesus’ teachings are anti-empire (meaning Roman) only to hear back how he was solely critiquing the way the Temple was being ran at the time. This is the type of thing we cover in this first episode and I am very excited for it to be out in the world.
