For everyone who has waited patiently and been praying faithfully, here is the latest: our social worker returned from a trip to Malawi this week to explore the barriers to obtaining visas. The adoption process is smooth with Malawi but the US counselor is reluctant to grant visas without a letter from the social welfare office within the district, which is not something this office typically does. There is a meeting between directors of social welfare, the orphanage director and our in-country lawyer this week and if favorable, can result in the letter we need to move forward. When/if you are praying this week, we cover specific prayers for this meeting to occur and be favorable for our case. This meeting could mean that we meet our daughter before her third birthday, which would be miraculous. Thank you for all the love and support, we couldn’t do this without you. ♥️
